Well-prepared
Webster stated that students who complete the three year cycle at a Montessori school are well equipped to enter any kind of school environment. “We teach students to learn to value each other as individuals and how to get along with one another,” said Webster.
The Farm School at Belle Meade currently caters to children age 12 to 15 (grades 79)and a large percentage of these students come from the Front Royal School. The Farm School does have students from elsewhere, including two homeschooled children. With a student body of 10, Webster said their goal for next year is 18 students, and their ideal goal for the future is between 30 and 40 students. With their first year progressing so well, Webster hopes the school will become an engaged part of the Rappahannock community.
