The Lions Club Annual Auction will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Bill Payne’s Auction Gallery in Amissville, beginning at 5 p.m. President Ken Marlor anticipates another success for this year’s effort, “already, county residents have offered resalable items such as, antiques, paintings andcollectibles. Their spring clean-up treasures will be recycled.” Lions Club members will pick-up items. Contributions may also be delivered to Payne’s on April 26 through April 30. The RCHS Leos Club will be helping with the auction activities this year.

Supporters of this annual fund raiser have been very generous in previotis years both in contributing items and buying them at the auction. The proceeds are used in the community to help those needing it most and sponsoring activities that include the sight and hearing testing van at the county schools and the Bland Music Competition.
