since the 1950’s and it wasn’t until last year that Webster and his wife Elizabeth were sent to the area with a mission to establish the current Farm School. The Mountain Laurel Montessori School in Front Royal was aware their students weren’t finished growing at the age of 12 (the Front Royal school works with children age 2-12), but there was simply no room to accommodate them explained Webster. It was then that Webster and his wife were flown from Boulder, Co. to the Belle Meade Bed and Breakfast to discuss the possibility of establishing a school at that location with several other interested parties.
