Betty I. Ebom

Washington resident

Mrs. Betty Irby Ebom, 77, of Rappahannock, died March 23.

She was bom on April 29, 1927.

Mrs. Ebom was retired from teaching elementary school, having taught for over thirty years.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty Lee and husband, Richard Myers of Woodville, and Virginia E. and husband, Sid Chamberlayne of Orange, one son, Carl F. Ebom, Jr. and wife, Lora of Boston.

Additional survivors include one brother, Edward C. (Ned) Irby of Kenbridge, one granddaughter.

Mrs. Ebom is also survived by her devoted furry companion, Pumpkin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Fromell Ebom, Sr.

A graveside service was held on Satin-day, March 26, in the Kenbridge Heights Cemetery, Kenbridge, Va.
