As the investigation to find the killer of his horse continues, Peter Hitchen of Sperryville’s Fullclip Farm has raised the reward to $4,000. Although costs have forced Hitchen to stop running the ad , he was able to raise the reward amount through a donation, and it is still being offered. The reward was previously $3,000 when first mentioned in a full page ad in the Rappahannock News last week, and is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the partyfs) responsible for the shooting death of Hitchen’s horse, Hasty Hobo.
