Legal Services Specialist position with Loudoun County Circuit Court Judges. Responsibilities include performing paralegal duties; conducting legal research; reviewing, organizing and analyzing routine and complex case files and proposed orders; evaluating critical pleadings and memoranda; preparing correspondence and orders; and communicating with the Clerk, the public and attorneys regarding inquiries and pending cases. Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent with related coursework and three years related work experience with at least six months administrative experience. Paralegal certificate required from an accredited paralegal program. Must be proficient in the following areas: legal research (VA legal research experience preferred), telephone and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel), and transcription from a Dictaphone. Must be reliable, discreet, organized, possess strong work habits and good communication skills. .
