June 1 - June 16: Handmade
Books on Display at
Rappahannock Library
A group of unique and beautiful handmade books will be on display at the library in Little Washington during the first half of June. The books were produced during a weekend Bookmaking Workshop led by Alberta Zajack (Albie Smith), assisted by Ann Georgia McCaffray and held at Revival Springs Retreat for Creative Action in Sperryville, VA. Workshop participants included Susan Abraham, Beau Caldwell, Jeanne Drevas, Wayne Jenkins, June Jordan, Toni McCaffray, Peg Schadler, Trista Scheueriein, Barbara Heile Sherwood and Linda Tarry. The community is encouraged to come in and experience a different kind of book! Library hours are: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, 10 a.m to 6 p.m., Thursday, Friday., and 10 a.m to 2 p.m on Saturday.
