If you were not able to attend our event, please stop by the Historical Society, say Hi, and tour the building. Not from this area originally? Ask one of our volunteers about having a property search done on your land. Not only will this give you a history of the land, but it will include the families that lived on that land, at least from 1833 when Rappahannock Co. was formed out of Culpeper Co.
Because if illness and a shortage of regular volunteers, our hours have changed to Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. We hope we can increase the number of days we’re open when our volunteer staff increases. People from all over the country visit to research their family roots.
