Winrock’s largest volunteer activity is the John Ogonowski Farmer-to-Farmer Program that fields approximately 350 volunteers each year to assist farmers, agribusinesses and local nonprofit organizations worldwide. Winrock’s Farmerto-Farmer Program currently operates in 25 countries in three regions, Asia and the Near East, Central Asia and Latin American. Program funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) covers volunteer travel expenses and makes the program possible.
