It would do little good to recount here more of the misery that this disease dispenses so readily. What we might be able to do, while the scientists and researchers try to find some answers, is take a moment to bring a few minutes or a few hours of relief to those most immediately impacted, the patients, themselves, and, most assuredly, their immediate caregivers. A kind word, a touch, a little time, is all it takes. Just do it.

As for me, I am going to take a short break. I hope to be back with you before too long. As for you, I hope you go to the meeting at the courthouse on Monday, June 5, at 7:00 pm, and get your county supervisor to explain to you why it is a good idea to put an additional real estate tax on the working people to pay the owners of large tracts of land not to develop their land.
Ask your supervisor who got the $105,000.00 4 they spent last year, who disbursed those funds, under what rationale, and what did you get for it. That was your money.
I am still gathering information, but, at first blush, this “program” appears to need a bit more daylight shed on it. Stay well.
