The Question
As a result of the recent reassessments, the proposed rate per $100 of real estate valuation for the next fiscal year is 600. Question: Should the county add 20 to fund the Farmland Preservation Program, for a rate of 620?
The public may comment on June 5 at the 7:00 p.m. supervisors meeting in the courthouse. A public hearing on the budget will be held on June 26, also at 7:00, followed by a vote on the budget.
