Over 240 people came and

enjoyed a beautiful day at a really special venue “Meadow Green Farm”, home of John and Pam Kiser in Slate Mills. Our hope and emphasis was a family event, and it would have been wonderful to have seen more parents with children there. We deliberately kept ticket prices low to encourage this.

The Board of Directors of the Rappahannock Historical Society wish to express our sincerest thank you to all those individuals who made this event a success. They include the following:

• Event co-chairs Wayne Baldwin and Judy Tole who did an incredible job of organizing this special day for everyone.

• Food Committee: Lillian Aylor and Thom Pellikaan; servers Mary Ann Kuhn, Cole & Tom Johnson, Linda Corbin & Larry Hoffman, Nathan Corbin, Steve Butler, Rebecca Abecassis, and Denise Pearson.

• Food donations: Flint Hill Public House, Blue Rock Inn, Griffin Tavern, The Country Cafe, Inn at Little Washington, Thornton River Grille, Sunnyside Farms, Apple Hill Bakery, Lakeside Caterers and Lillian Aylor and friends.
