Congratulations to Ray and Wynn Ludwig on the marriage of their daughter Rachael to Steve Pellegrino. It was great to see all those young people walking on the streets of Sperryville, gathering on the porches at Hopkins Ordinary and The House on Water Street and partying at the Blue Rock Inn for the rehearsal dinner. With more places for group accommodations in town and a large venue for dinner, weddings are an ideal way for people to discover the joys of Sperryville and Rappahannock County.
Memorial Day
It has been suggested that we have a fundraiser to purchase flags for the graves of our deceased military for next year. Some have talked of having a ceremony to honor all those who have served our country. If anyone would like to head up this project, let’s get together with Jimmy Swindler, a Korean War vet and head of the VFW to start planning now.
