We talked about the different paths we had taken since the plant closed - sometimes diverging, sometimes crossing, sometimes rocky. Most noted that there had been some unexpected turns in our lives that had opened new vistas. Some wondered what new stories we might tell, when we meet again next year.

The Aileen clothing factory filed for bankruptcy in 1994, closing in October after 31 years of operation. About 160 people worked in the cinder block and brick building; it is estimated that about half of the employees were county residents.
