A buffet, provided by attendees who were invited to bring a covered dish, was one of the highlights of the evening. Other activities included just the fun of getting to greet new friends who previously were strangers or only screen names, petting and walking trained champion llamas brought to the affair by West Wind Llama Farm owners Gwen and Clyde Humphrey, counfry music provided live by Donald Chandler, and a glassblowing demonstration put on by the host, Eric Kvames in his studio.
Dennis Kelly summed up the feelings of most about the evening when he wrote: “Last night was a very special event and I suspect it may even effect the way we talk to one another on-line. At least for a day or so ... [and] I look forward to reading your posts even more now that I can attach a person to a message.”
