Police Briefs Domestic assault on Lake Drive Darryl Anthony Stewart, 37, was arrested for domestic assault outside his Amissville home by Lt. Chris Jenkins of the RCSO on August 29. Jenkins responded to a 911 call from Stewart’s 13-year-old stepdaughter, who reported that Stewart was beating her mother and holding a gun. This incident is still under investigation.
Clean getaway On September 5, officers of the RCSO responded to the scene of a reported burglary. A washing machine and dryer were taken from the interior of an unfinished home construction site in the 1400 block of US 211. This incident is still under investigation.
