But not to worry, while we might lose one building at this picturesque thoroughfare, history suggests that another will someday take its place. Actually, though we think of it sans-suffix, the rustic building that now stands unused in Thornton Gap might quite appropriately be called Panorama Number 3. In the 1920s an expansive complex of rustic $nd modern (for that date) tourist accommodations and sporting amenities could be found in the Gap. These we might term Panorama Number 2.
