Mom was always a very strong lady both physically and emotionally. When I was a teen-ager she used to jog down our road with me. She was also very ingenious. My Mom was my very best friend. She was my matron of honor on my wedding day. When I became a nurse myself, I usually worked three 12-hour shifts and that left four days a week that I was off. We would often run around during the day between her morning and afternoon bus runs.
