Sperryville resident

Robert Lee Woodard, 94, of Sperryville, died in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, Monday, September 4.

He was bom November 15, 1911 to John Cumberland Woodard and Sarah Ella Brown Woodard in Culpeper County.

Mr. Woodard worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation in the maintenance department. He loved his family and the Lord very much.

He is survived by his sister Florence Burke and her husband Paul of Sperryville and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 7, at 2 p .m. in the Clore-English Funeral Home Chapel, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery with Rev.
