Jan 12: Fauquier Community Theater

presents “Winnie the Pooh”

Everyone’s favonte bear of Very Little Brain comes to life in FCTs production of Winnie the Pooh. Pooh, played by Tim Sampson, along with panicky Piglet (Nichole Naccash). miserable Eeyore (Liam Mulder), strong-willed Rabbit (Sara Jane Rodgers) and wise Owl (William Janowitz) find out that one of the Fiercer Animals. Kanga (Don Weathers) and her little Roo (Hannah Abeel) are coming to the forest. Piglet gets roped into playing with Roo when Kanga gives her the dreaded bath (with soap1) and the Strengthening Medicine. Pooh rallies to save Piglet, but gets distracted by Rabbit's offer of honey and gets stuck in Rabbit's doorway. Directed by Evelyn Rice, the cast includes Allen McRae as The Voice (who played Applegate in Damn Yankees) Colin Shea-Blymyer as Christopher Robin, as well as Baylee Alerding as a Skunk, and Courtney Rice. Skyler Buss. Joshua Vest, and Carson Buss as Rabbits.

The theater will host Brunch with Pooh and Friends. Sunday. January 20 at the Inn at Vint Hill. 4200 Aiken Dnve (across from the theater) at 11:30 a.m. The ticket pnce of $27.00 for adults and $23.00 for children will include Brunch, a photo with a Fnend of choice, a small gift, meal and play ticket. Winnie the Pooh will open Saturday. January 12. All performances are matinees at 2:00. Performances will run Saturdays and Sundays. Jan. 13: Open House

Mountain Laurel Montesson Farm School will hold an Open House this Sunday. January 13 from 1.00-3:30 p.m. The Farm School integrates challenging academics with real-world experiences of farm and community life. We invite all those interested in Montesson education for students age 12 to 15 years to join us to tour the farm, meet the teachers, and learn about our purposeful learning community.
