Naysayers ami advocates of the proposed power line through the Piedmont will get one more shot to address the State Corporation Commission on the contentious project.

SCC Heuring Examiner Alexander Skirpan will hold a public hearing on Dominion Virginia Power's plans tor a 500,000-volt transmission line at the agency's Richmond headquarters on Tuesday. Jan. 14:The

Last year. Skirpan conducted hearings in tour communities (including Fauquier' that would be aflected by the proposed line.

The SCC counted 281 speakers. 28 of whom apparently supported the project, according to spokesman Ken Schrad.

The Richmond hearing will be a chance for those who missed last year’s hearings to comment, not an opportunity
