Mentor Marilyn Armor, who with hue* band David is the former owner of Sharp Rock Vineyards and Sharp Rock B & B in Sperryville, has been paired with 7-year»old Karly since June, 2007. She seconds Sam Fox’s assessment of the rewards of mentoring. “I get a lot out of it, it’s a two-way thing in terms of giving and also receiving. It’s a very enriching experience. I think the mentor gets as much back—if not more—than the mentee.”
