which I did. I explained the situation about the 911 call that I did not make. The customer service lady said they would get on it right away and suggested that the problem may be with the battery in the portable phone. When batteries get low (and mine wasn’t), phones sometimes do things like dial numbers automatically. Have you ever heard of such a thing? If this makes sense to you, let me know! The churches on the Rappahannock United Methodist Charge need your help. They will be going to Washington, D.C. on Saturday, Feb. 2, to take hot food and warm clothes to the homeless men who live on the streets. Specifically needed are men’s winter coats, sweat shirts and pants, boxer shorts, socks, and work boots. Clothing should . be size Large or XL. Socks and underwear should be new; other clothing and boots may be used, but clean. Gloves, knit caps and sleeping bags are also appreciated. Call Judi Burke (631-6103) to arrange for pick up before the end of January.
