To counteract the usual economic downturn in revenue, friends of Rae gathered at her restaurant for a lively party with music by Rappahannock’s own Rude Rock Band on Friday evening and the soothing sounds of Dontez Harris and friends all day Saturday. Good food, wine, beer, fun and companionship was enjoyed by the crowd both days.

In a smoke-free, family friendly atmosphere you can bring the kids for supper and let them move to the sounds of good bluegrass music at the Sperryville Volunteer Fire Hall, starting at 6 p.m. As usual, the Auxiliary will be cooking food. They make their money through food sales and the 50/50 raffle. Proceeds support the needs of the Volunteer Fire Dept and maintenance of the Fire Hall. All those wonderful musicians just show up to volunteer their time and talent for your entertainment. Yall come!
