Spring was officially here at 7:44 a. m. Friday and by Saturday evening the village was filled with joyous sounds of music.
The Okuda Jazz quartet has developed a loyal following and Stonewall Abbey again had a full house of fans. Just down the street. Blue Grass music filled the hall at the Methodist Church. Down the road, Lorraine Duisit’s joy was evident in her smile and bouncing energy during her creative performance at Hearthstone School with the talented and effervescent Frances Miller and world renowned harmonica and jazz piano player Howard Levy. Lorraine was also joined in a touching collaboration with her son, Evan, on the saxophone for the last two pieces.
