Mr Bob Klaus attempts to
legitimize the characterization of the United States as a “Christian Nation." (Rappahannock News, March 5) The argument does not work. The premise is faulty. It consists of an assignment of unfounded and insupportable attribution to the Declaration of Independence which culminate in the claim that its clause ““All men are created equal' is a Christian principle.”
