Lorena V. Tumblin
Lorena V. Tumblin, age 77, New Market, formerly of Front Royal, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Life Care Center in New Market. A funeral service was conducted on Monday, March 23, 2009 at Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal. Interment followed in Forest Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Viewtown. Mrs. Tumblin was bom in Culpeper County on May 13,1931, a daughter of the late Harry and Vennie Woodard Clatterbuck. She was a published poet, a quilter, and an avid reader. She was a loving mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother.
She is survived by her daughter. Doris Critzer and husband Bruce of Washington: sisters, Montrue Frazier and Madeline Holmes both of Amissville; live grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family received friends on Sunday, March 22,2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 p in at the funeral home.
