The Warrenton Garden Club presents the Garden Club of Virginia's 76th Historic Garden Tour of five homes and gardens Wednesday. April 22. and Thursday. April 23. from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The tour includes Yorkshire House, on 10 acres with four acres of gardens in the Town ofWarrenton; Hopefield owned by the same family since 1924; Elway Hall, home of famous decorator Barry Dixon; StoneLedge Farm, a replication of Drayton Hall and Gunston Hall: and Hillsborough Farm, a polooriented home with its own polo field.
The Warrenton Hunt foxhounds will be shown and the Los Tigres Polo Qub will give a polo exhibit both days.
.Ml proceeds from the tour benefit the restoration of Historic Gardens in Virginia. More than 30 tours throughout Virginia are expected to attract over 30.000 guests. Historic Garden Week in Virginia is America's largest “open house."
