Congratulations to SkillsUSA Virginia State Champions from Rappahannock County High School. From left, back row: Tyler Shoemaker, Cody Dodson and teacher Scott Schlosser. From left, front row: Nathan Grant and Taylor Yowell. The team won a gold medal for a first place finish in the Teamworks Competition recently held in Hampton, Va., in which the team made a small bathroom for a house as its project. By winning first place in Virginia, the team earned an $800 scholarship towards the cost of attending the national competition in Kansas City in June.
