Aubrey Leon Lillard. 66, of Elkton. MD died on Monday. June 29. 2009 at Laurelwood Care Center in Elkton. Maryland. He was bom in Front Royal on May 29. 1943. Mr Lillard had served in the U.S. Army and was a retired Fairfax County Police Officer. A longtime resident of Broad Run, VA he served as a deacon at the Broad Run Baptist Church and was a past president of the New Baltimore Lions Club. His wife, Barbara W. Lillard and his father preceded him death. He is survived by two daughters; Allison and her husband. William Targett of North East, MD and Aimee and her husband. Jarrod Winans of Winchester, his mother. Edna Lillard of Flint Hill, and three sisters; Catherine Hawkins and Edith Graves, both of Fredericksburg and Lois Duncan of Broad Run. Additional survivors include two grandchildren, Jack Targett and Nicole Winans. The family received friends on Wednesday. July 1, 2009 at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA where services were held on Thursday, July 2. 2009 Interment Flint Hill Methodist Church Cemetery. Flint Hill.
