There is no charge to attend the reunion. It is a potluck affair, so bring something for yourself and others to enjoy. Most important of all, bring memories of the school, and any old photographs. Bring your stories, too.
Here’s a story told by Alene Johnson who is a member of the county school board.
Mrs. Johnson was little Alene Brown in 1935 when she started school in Sperryville. She told in an interview how the girls’ basketball team had one winning season after another, and went - this may be hard to believe - undefeated through 14 years.
