Plum, who is also from Fairfax, gave very positive marks to both candidates and the message being played up there was unity and teamwork.
Of Shannon, Plum said, “He’s levelheaded, well-prepared and a solid citizen with the temperament you need in this position.”
“I’(m really impressed with John,” said Plum, “he’s a real leader.”
Lesinski doesn’t strike one as a politician; neither does Shannon - although he's more practiced at talking to the press. He easily slips into casual conversation and doesn’t rely on rehearsed talking points.
