Diane Williams was named Queen of the Chester Gap Firemen's carnival Friday night and received her crystal tiara from outgoing queen Rachel Williams Other contestants were Susan Fox, in second place and Kay North, third. Each received a gift for their efforts in the contest which, along with the juniors, cleared over $600.
Susan Dodson of Flint Hill attended a 4-H short course at V.P.I., Blacksburg June 16-20 Susan has been active in 4-H for the past six years and has been outstanding in public speaking, clothing projects, Share-the-Fun, Light Horse and Pony Club. She has attended 4-H Congress at Blacksburg and served as a junior leader at 4-H camp
