The Town Council has applied to amend the zoning map for the below stated parcels to change their zoning classification from Rural Residential to Village Residential The public purpose of the application is to rationalize and to make more uniform the boundaries of the Rural Residential district and to allow such properties to be included within the Sewer Service District and become customers of the Sewer System
The proposed amendment s intended result is residential usage with a density of not less than .5 acre per house; however, affected property owners have stated their intention to enter into proffers that would result in no increase density from this rezoning with the exception of the The Child Care and ^Learning Center property, which intends to submit a proffer limiting its property to the current density and one additional detached single family residential unit.
