Former chief executive officer of the Piedmont Environmental Council, Boh Dennis, had an unexpected visitor while his wife. Barbara, was out of town on Friday, July 3.
Sometime before 3 am. a bear, enticed by cat food in Dennis’ kitchen, entered the Flint Hill home off of North Poos Road and helped himself to a midnight snack. Dennis was surprised, but managed to make it through the incident with only a few cuts and bruises.
“I turned on the porch light and the light in the kitchen and at that point I heard this noise and it was a bear! 1 didn’t expect that," said Dennis.
Awakened by his dog’s barking, Dennis got out of bed and started turning on all of the lights in the house, thinking maybe a raccoon had entered his house. The couple leaves
