Spay and neuter van trip - Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL) offers simple and affordable spay/neuter services to Rappahannock and neighboring county dogs and Cats. Partnered with the Shenandoah Low Cost §pay/Neuter Veterinary Clinic, we coordinate trips for 20 or more animals at a time. The program presents animal owners with a chance to spay/neuter at a fraction of the ordinary cost (fees range from $50 to $90). Advance registration by Aug. 4 and payment required! The National Park Service is offering three "Fee Free Weekends" this summer at national parks, including the Shenandoah National Park. Entrance fees will be waived on July 18-19, and Aug. 15-16. Music lessons during the summer, a great time to learn to play an instrument. Instruction in trumpet, trombone, flute, piano, Clarinet, saxophone, percussion and voice. Many of the instructors are upper level students at Shenandoah Conservatory, and some are knowledgeable, enthusiastic local musicians. Lessons cost $16 per 1/2 hour, weekly lesson.
