Nov. 2,1936 ■ July 6,2009 Kirk Bradley Burke, 72 of Amissville, VA died on July 6,2009 at the Fauquier Hospital after a long illness. He was bom Nov. 2, 1936 in Washington, DC a son of the late Kirkwood Griffith Burke and Hazel Katherine Santmyer Burke. Brad worked with his father at K G. Burke and Son Plumbing and Heating Company until his father retired. He then moved to Amissville where he was a self-employed home builder. He is survived by his wife of 53 years- Joan D. Burke; one son and his wife- Glen Bradley and Beverly Burke of Amissville; one sister- Barbara Ann Parisi, Hurst, TX; two granddaughters- Kelly Dawn Miller of Coma Del Mar, CA and Rebecca Bradley Compton, Chesapeake, VA The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Thursday at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA where funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Thomas Everett will officiate. Interment at Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Dept., FO Box 147, Amissville, VA 20106.
