Wilt oversee supervision of park patrons and renters according to department policies/procedures; supervise staff, manage operations in absence.of Park Manager, and perform daily site salety/maintenance checks. Will also be responsible for further developing and managing volunteer programs, expanding interpretation in the Visitor Center and historic I-anesville area, overseeing the Visitor Center Assistant, Park Naturalist and Naturalist Instructors, developing new programming to expand know ledge; use of park resources, and assisting with development & management of special events. Handle customer service concerns in accordance with park and departmental guidelines. Some maintenance duties, including light trail maintenance and native and historic plant gardening. Must be willing to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends & holidays. Position requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor s degree in Recreation. leisure Services, Tourism. Environmental Education or History or related field with two years directly related work experience, including supervisory exper ience. Valid driver's license required.
