Park Manager - Franklin Park
Dept of Parks, Recreation and Community Services currently seeking qualified applicants for Franklin Park Manager position. Park is located in pastoral setting just outside of Town of Purcellville. VA and offers wide variety of outdoor activities. Duties include: mgmt of sportsplex, various athletic fields, large outdoor swimming pool, natural resources areas, facilities and grounds, including daily athletic field prep while in season. Develop & implement park programs, act as liaison wcommunity groups. Coordinate/manape special events throughout year including large 4th of July fireworks display. Provide staff supervision, budget management, volunteer management, customer service. Must be willing to work flexible work schedule, including evenings/weekends to oversee facility operations. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to Bachelor s degree in recreation or related field and 3 years related experience in program and facility management, including 1 year supervisory experience. Prefer experience with swimming pool operations and maintenance. Prefer CPRP certification. Requires Loudoun County Pool operator's license, first aid, and CPR.
