The 4th of July event was spectacular
once again at Thornton Hill because of many people.
A special "thank you” should go to Gary Settle and Richie Burke for their many hours of planning and organizing the event and leading a strong local 4th of July Committee that consisted of Greg Williams, Mike Leake. Eddie Wavland, A1 Henry and Lam- Grove.
Gary and Richies dedicated service to this community allowed this event to be the success it was. The event continues to grow m an efficient and cordial fashion thanks to their hard work.
Mike Leake of the Rappahannock National Bank wore many hats and earned them off as professionally as anyone I have ever seen especially as an MC - he rivaled Ed McMahon. I hope NBC doesn’t steal him away.
Greg Williams and his company, Williams Tree and Landscaping Service, as usual did more work in a shorter time th’an anyone thought was possible. The site was even more spectacular than last year.
