The coverage by the Rappahannock News was excellent and the flag on Julian Brown's equipment was glorious.
On a personal note it was nice to see new underwriters come into being such as Jimmy and Beth DeBergh and John and Beverly Sullivan as well as continued support from B&B Signal (Julian & Paul Brown'. Rappahannock National Bank, Greg Williams Tree and Landscaping Senice. Greve P'oundation and an anonymous donor.
The paucity of trash and debris on the grounds was a testament to the character of the people attending.
The event is turning into a meeting place for both the new and old residents of Rappahannock and hopefully for all of us to learn to work for the betterment of Rappahannock County.
The county, in my belief, has to become, more tounst friendly in order to bring additional income and jobs into the county so that the natives can continue to grow and prosper. It was nice to see more' local business become involved and I trust everyone will support them. As the economy gets
