• On Thursday. July 9 the Washington Architectural Review Board (ARB) will meet at 7.30 p.m. in the Town Hall on Gay Street. Highlights of the agenda: Town of Washington application regarding a Control Building for the town's wastewater treatment plant. • On Tuesday, July 14 the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7 p.m. closed session and at 7:30 p.m. public session at the high school band room. • On Tuesday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall, the Planning Commission and the Washington Town Council will hold a joint public heanng to consider the adoption of a Zoning Map amendment to change certain properties in Rural Residential to Village Residential. Immediately following the joint public hearing, the Town Council wilt hold its July council meeting. Highlights from the agenda include a public hearing to consider the adoption of an amendment to the Town Sewer Ordinance as to eligibility to be an “existing user." Also under consideration will be sewer assessments, easements updates, an Allegheny franchise agreement, and an Allegheny Power Wastewater Treatment Plant Electnc Service Proposal.
