When Jeanie and Dick McNear bought and occupied Hilltop, their home located at Greenwood Farm in Gid Brown Hollow in the mid-1990s, they knew right away that the then abandoned apple packing shed would make a great facility for events, but they hardly could have envisioned how popular it’s become.
“We ei\joy using it for family affairs and make it available to all kinds of civic and community organizations that appreciate its rustic setting and beautifiil views," they explain.
