A 36-year-old Sperryville man was arrested Wednesday after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend on Monday and another man the next afternoon, striking the second victim with a gun, the SherifFs Office said.
Ronald Edward Johnson, Jr., of 12274 Major Brown Road, was charged with possession of a firearm after being convicted of a felony, displaying a firearm in a threatening manner and tw»o counts of malicious wounding after he turned himself in Wednesday morning to the Rappahannock County Sheriff s Office, according to Lt. J.C. Welch, who made the arrest and is investigating.
The Sheriffs Office would not identify the firearm used nor the victims -by name; the first was described as Johnson’B girlfriend, the second a man who worked at the farm on Major Brown Road where she and Johnson lived.
The second victim was treated for head lacerations and cuts and bruises on his arms, abdomen and^ legs
