Sperryville Comer Store was burglarized early Tuesday morning and more than $4,000 was taken from the safe Besides the contents of the safe the only other articles missing were two hams valued at about $14 each The store is operated by Randolph C la ter of Washington, Va . and Wilson Burke of Sperryville m the Schw artz building The Rappahannock County Health Department has had a busy year according to its n-port forthcoming Personnel of the department are Mrs. Frances Thornton, nurse, J. Lockhart, sanitarian; Dr. L. A. Dickerson, director, and Mrs. Patricia Giles, clerk and new est member O. A. Norton, Superintendent of Schools, reported at the Board of Supervisors’ meeting Friday that there is a slight increase in the total number of students enrolled in school here this year. Total school enrollment stands at 1,178 for the 1969-70 session, 822 students m the elementary school and 356 in the high school. This is an increase of 44 from the last year’s total of 1,134: 23 elementary and 21 high school
