On Monday night, a cross section of Washington residents completed the last of five training and discussion sessions on the critical role and relevance of community planning to the future of the town.
With the completion of the wastewater treatment system in sight, and requirements to review the town's Comprehensive Plan next year, the sessions were designed to educate representatives of the Town Council, Planning Commission. ARB and Board of Zoning Appeals on the need to establish goals and plans for balancing the desired growth in the towm while maintaining the best of its existing character.
