Weatherford and George H. Rea, idely known honeybee authorities, Bee Keeping in Virgina, covers: bee hives, kind of bees to get, where to locate hives, handling bees, seasonal management, swarming, requeening, how to increase colonies, robbers, honey production, nectar producing plants, two queen colony management, artificial insemination of queens, diseases and pests, new insecticides and honeybees, beekeeping for pollination, packaging and marketing honey and the Virginia Apiary Law.

Mrs. Lester Burke was hostess to the Woman’s Society of Christian Set vice of the Methodist church Thursday evening at 7:'J0 with eighteen members and foui visitor, present. Mrs. Gene Wagner led the worship ‘Opening the Book of Books,” after which a business meeting followed, led by Mrs. Ora Ramey. The program “H a v i n g the Bible Is Not Eno.gh,’’ was presented with Mrs. Mable Racer leading.
After tlie program Mrs. Burke served delicious refreshments, assisted by her mother Mrs. E. A. Burt.
Following the social hour an auction sale was held with Mrs. Carson Anderson as auctioneer.
