Bing Crosby Invited To
Front Royal April 1
Bing Crosby has been extended an invitation to visit Front Roval and Warren co.nty, April 1, when the lighted Athletic Field of the Front Royal-Warren County Recreation Association will be dedicated. At the same time there will be a world-premiere of “Riding High” the new Bing Crosby movie.
State Senator Raymond R. Guest extended the invitation to Crosby, who has been his guest on several occasions in his home in Warren county.
In April, 1948 Crosby participated in the initial campaign of the Warren County-Front Royal Recreation Association, Inc., in its effort to provide a full program of planned recreation for the town and county, including the lighted athletic field and recreation park.
Senator Guest, with a group of prominent community leaders, hav'e set in motion plans to mark the dedication of the new recreation center.
