Mrs. H. IB. Wood and her mother Mrs. L. G. Quaintance and Mr. Daniel Lillard, visited Mr. Lillard Pulliam in Culpeper on Sunday afternoon and found him better from his recent illness.
Capt. and Mrs. Benjamin Rigg and Capt. and Mrs. F. L. Gallen of Washington, D. C., were the week-end guests of Capt. and Mrs. H. C. Warwick at “Rockbottom.” Tuesday Col. and Mrs. William R. Williamson of Woodpile, were dinner guests at the Warwick home.
Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Pullen, daughters Ruby and Audrey wer^ dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Claik. Mrs. Roadcap Atkins and son Roadcap Jr., of Amissville, were also visitors in the Clark home on Sunday.
Miss Mary Miller Latham, a student of Strayer College, Washington, D. C., spent the week end with her parents at Amissville.

Mrs. Henry Huff is spending several days tl|<tv week at the home of Jim Estes at Sperryville, after visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Racer on Monday nad Tuesday. Sunday she was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Racer and Sheriff and Mrs. J. M. Lillard.
Mr. and Mrs. Willie Butler and family of Brandy wene dinner guests on Sunday of the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Butler.
