Mrs. Carroll Menefee' .was a week-ned guest of her brotherin-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett in Culpeper.

Mrs. Robert Petersen of Washington, D. C., spent the week end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Settle.

Mr. and Mrs. John D. Wood of Danville, spent the week end at the home of the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller.

Mrs. J. J. Miller, Mrs. Brown Miller and her small son Jim, were Sunday guests fo Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton.

James M. Settle of Flint Hill, is visiting his brother, Thomas H. Settle at Orlando, Florida for several weeks.

Miss Mary Rudasill, who teaches in the Stephens City school, spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Luther Rudasill.

Mr. and Mrs. G. Tyler Miller and daughter of Harrisonburg, visited Mrs. John J. Miller and Mrs. James M; Settle at Flint Hill on Saturday.

Mrs. Holmes Hall returned to Lee Highway hotel on Saturday afternoon, after having undergone an operation at the University hospital on Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Turner of Front Royal, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning, and Mrs. E. R. Browning in Flint Hill.
